Dot 5 which was founded in 2002 has been providing reliable hosting and excellent service right from the word go. There strategy has not been on marketing but more on building a strong customer base. We have been extremely pleased with the service we have so far received from them, and they come highly recommended. It has been very difficult to find fault with them, and at these prices they are comparable to dedicated hosting but at a fraction of the cost!

Dot 5 deserves its place on our list as we believe, it is yet another host which can provide the perfect platform for you to build you next online venture. In such a competitive environment, it seems that some things would have to give, but in Dot 5 case it doesn't. Their customer support, uptime and reliability are exemplary. Unlimited bandwidth and disk space, and the $50 free credit make this host a very good choice!

Our support questions are generally grueling when we come to testing out web hosts technical support teams. We can't help but think how relieved the support agent must feel once they've gotten off a call from us, and with Dot 5 we weren't any easier on them. We are however glad to say that they passed with flying colors, we did wait a fraction longer in the que, but once they picked up they answered our questions both intelligently and quickly. Good job Dot 5!

Performance has been overall excellent with Dot 5 with an almost perfect uptime. We did notice some delays, which were very marginal, but this was only during times that they were updating software. Generally our test sites performed extremely well and satisfactory.

The control panel of choice is vDeck, not our number one choice, however, it is very capable and as stated before it is growing by leaps and bounds in popularity. vDeck performed very well on Dot 5, and we only noticed slight lags during peak times, other than that it was an ease to use to administer our website.
