Bluehost have been in the web hosting business for years. Established in 1996, have been around almost as long as Hostmonster. Their service have been excellent over the years, which has been aided by the vast amount of experience they have gained. Bluehost offers plans which are more inclined to the technical user more so than the beginner hence their position on our list. How ever if you are looking for a solid web host that will cater for anything you throw at them, look no further than Bluehost.

Being in the business for longer than most web hosts these days, Bluehost has built up a very strong and impressive reputation. They also offer unlimited bandwidth and disk space with the ability to host unlimited websites. Bluehost also offers support for Ruby on Rails, and Django two of the upcoming web frameworks which have taken the web development community by storm.

Bluehost support isn't what makes it stand out from the others, but they do get the job. We've never been left high and dry by not being able to get one of our queries answered in time.

We have run a number of thorough tests with Bluehost, page loading times for our website hosted with have been very quick, and we have been pleased with the results. However, we have noticed a bit of downtime, but it is generally sorted out very promptly, and usually only happens during upgrades.

Bluehost utilizes the popular cPanel, it performs incredibly quickly on their servers making it an absolute pleasure to use. It comes loaded with many great features to monitor and administer your website, we believe it is the best software to use in maintaining your website, but not sure why every host doesn't use it!
